The new year presented new challenges with return to increased restrictions due to the pandemic. It was decided to
close The Hub to face to face appointments and to maintain the online and phone service until the restrictions are lifted.
Although working from home has its limitations The Hub service has been as busy as ever. I have been taking enquiries
and referrals from a range of different partners and community members. With the increase in restrictions we are
finding that more people are shielding or self -isolating making it difficult for them to access services. Thanks to working
in partnership with Fife Council and Fife Voluntary Action Helping Hand initiative The Hub has liaised with these
services to meet the needs of vulnerable members in the community.
The Hub received a request to collate relevant local information about agencies and services who were providing
assistance during the pandemic. This document was shared amongst professionals, volunteers, community members and
Hopefully in the following months The Hub can re-open for partners to arrange face to face appointments and for
community members to drop -in when needing assistance.
